The movie has some good choreography and a few laughs but the story is incredibly thin, the interesting characters are pushed and and not well established or fleshed out, the villain had a lot of potential but was incredibly underwhelming and came with a seriously disappointing ending. Moving away from Harley herself, I’d be remiss in not mentioning that the handle of Harley’s hammer is bent ever so slightly.I also am not as hot … Come to find out that some of the scenes and action where shot so poorly they had to spend ridiculous, Look!
If this was a straight to DVD or an exclusive movie on DCU. This will turn off a lot of audiences who just wanted to watch an entertaining film with a well written narrative and interesting characters without being lectured or preached to, which is exactly what this film is trying to do. However I do congratulate the writer in not opting for the safe moral ending where the bad guys are caught and justice triumphs. It's strange how the Joker went from one-dimensional, one-liner, character for decades but got the full dramatic treatment in the past 10 years. Ahead of the second film’s release, a variety of critics, including John DeFore of the Hollywood Reporter, are telling viewers there is no requirement to watch or “experience” Suicide Squad before seeing Birds of Prey. What a mess... A mix of pointless violence and a childish script.

This movie is the perfect example of how not to make comic book movies, you can't make a movie of this sub genre that is not dedicated to those who know the characters and on top of that use it to promote misandry and fulfill the political.
