I REALLY wish they would turn the heat on. You can also lift up the armrest and cuddle up next to your partner. It didn't feel like they had the heat on. Concessions are of course pricey, but I absolutely love that I can eat ice cream and drink a Starbucks latte while enjoying my movie. This is the only movie theater in Chico and the surrounding area. As I was putting my phone back I get assaulted by a lady who hit me with her scarf from two rows behind me. I've been here a few times.
This renovation was loooonnnggg overdue and I am so happy I can enjoy movies just like at home best thing is you can pick your seats when you buy your tickets so you do not have to rush just to get a seat together! Are you kidding me?!
Not clean, needed vacuuming and several arm rests were sticky. Staff doesn't seem to be customer oriented. Seats are standard but comfortable. This place has loungers! Warm and stuffy in the theater. Admission and concession prices are comparable to other cinemas , with freshly popped corn , carbonated beverages and various candies available at the snack bar . Love that you can buy tickets online at Fandango. Because they will run out of those too. Also, this is the only gig in town, so it's busy all the time due to lack if option. Otherwise, this is an unremarkable movie theatre that offers mainstream movies and delicious, yet still overpriced, popcorn. I've been to this place once and enjoyed the experience once. It's super clean as is the bathrooms and the rest of the building.

Buying tickets is pretty convenient and courteous is there with the employees. We bought our tickets on Fandango. Even if a stranger sits next to you, you still have plenty of room that you don't feel intruded on. It's embarrassing of a number. I was approached by security to leave and speak to them, at the time I didn't feel safe to leave because my nephews were going to be left alone in the theater . I want my $8 back! Large parking lot, clean bathrooms and theaters. But with the online reserve tickets we were charged $1.75 per ticket for the online service. This is the only main stream theater in Chico, so you are really a captive audience. It's like watching a movie in your own living room! After sometime I was getting very annoyed with what happened and came out to speak to the manager Mike Akins , who instead of listening to me, he started raising his voice at me in a very rude way then called the security to escort me out .
It was 26 degrees outside, and I was cold throughout the entire movie. We told a concessions employee who requested their manager come check out the machine... but they didn't refund our money.

This is my favorite spot to see a movie. We put a $1 worth of coins in to the machine and nothing happened. Upon arriving, we were greeted by dozens of screaming teenage boys, using the pool facility.
Quality of concessions is very poor.
Seating is easy to get in and out of. The theater was cold, but that is why I always have a beach towel. It took a couple of tries due to confusion and having to remove and reinsert the card as instructed.
AT THE MOVIES! PLEASE INSTAL CAMERAS TO PREVENT BIKE THEFT AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. You have to buy one of those plastic cups you lug around and pay $3.00 to refill every time.

The facility has recently applied for a license to sell beer and mixed drinks , licensing is still in process So that offering , if granted , will not be available until sometime in 2019 As one might imagine , Friday and Saturday afternoon and evening presentations are heavily attended ... while Sunday Evenings , a Little less so . I would like to give the theater a a big thank you! This is a pretty nice theater. The theater is always clean and well kept. Watch out! This theater is still a fairly nice and clean theater.

A self serve ticketing kiosk is available for those Entering prior to the box office opening . The seats are also pretty comfortable and usually it's very clean. It is not cheap but all matinees are price reduced.
