Each magazine came complete with a cassette tape featuring narration of all the stories included in each issue. My uncle collected these and split the 6 binders and tapes between my cousins. I can give these to my niece when she is older. Like its UK counterpart, Erzähl mir was came out fortnightly and was available in newsagents or by subscription.

It was in Part 1 of Story Teller 2 and there should be a link to it on Youtube , I grew up listening to these tapes well after I should have stopped, in australia they were called story time tapes but exactly the same thing. I dont mind uploading the tapes for people to use. Wow, hearing them brings back many happy memories of time spent listening to them as a kid. To this day the best media I remember from my Childhood.

I might attribute my love of literature now to the pleasure I had reading these! It was published in 1986, long after most collectors had assumed that the series had ended. Collected when my husband was little! I am only interested in selling them altogether. There were 26 magazines in each collection.

i have now setup a proper channel on YouTube, currently 2 playlists are on there, story teller 1 collection fully up and not altered all i as high a quality as i can get them, tapes 1 – 12 now up for story teller 2, releasing 2 per week then will upload all of the little story tellers, taken quite a while, search for the channel Storyteller.

Thanks, I am currently putting the entire collection on youtube in as high a quality as possible, search farscape247. The magazines and cassettes came with their own binders and hard plastic carry case, so it was possible to keep them all together.

I’ve also just stumbled across our collection: Story Teller 1 & 2 in complete binders with all cassette tapes + my brothers Little Story Teller collection in complete binder and all cassettes :O.
