Tavern was well appointed but again service behind bar was slow. Service was attentive and the food was delicious.
All in all, despite the good food, the service and noise level really put a damper on the night. Crab cake was unbelievable. Nice bar/tavern side. We have recommended it many times. The food was great, try the scallop special u won’t be disappointed. We have been there several times and have even had a few events in the atrium room so for the most part like the place but the last time there wasn't great. Banquet, Bar/Lounge, Beer, Cocktails, Entertainment, Fireplace, Full Bar, Gluten-free Menu, Happy Hour, Late Night, Private Room, Takeout, Weekend Brunch, Wheelchair Access, Wine. All the small nuances add up. If you're looking to sit at the bar for drinks or for a more casual dinner, then the tavern is your best bet. Have not been there in a while due to family issues but what a great return. Watermans exceeds expectations. Highly recommend. We had a 5:30 reservation. It was a fail. Keeps the noise to an appropriate level.
The new owners have totally renovated the building. 2 versus 1 star is the draft brews we had were good and the tater tots were crispy also.

We asked for our filet mignon to be cooked medium and it was served rare. The service was impeccable and the food was great! Full bar yet never waited for a drink. A steak place that can't prepare steaks is a miss.
I ordered medium and it came out rare. Food was excellent across... Waterman's Tavern is a great steakhouse in the area! They gave us a complimentary dessert to make up for it.
Everything else was awful. Drinks and food took a while. Everything was perfect!
Afterwards, I went into the tavern section and enjoyed a cocktail while listening to live music. Is Waterman's Tavern currently accepting reservations?

We choose to eat in the tavern vs the steakhouse as we we're casually dressed. I will never go back and it was a major embarrassment to us and our guests.
